Carl Connection: Technical Associate I, Langer Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
This opportunity is brought to you by a Carleton alumnus, Ruairi Brown ’25. You are welcome to reach out to Ruairi at brownr2@mit.edu with any questions about the organization or position prior to applying.
A note from Ruairi:
I'm a Carleton '25 alum currently working as a technician in the Langer Lab's Jaklenec Group at MIT. Our lab is a bioengineering lab focused on vaccines and drug delivery. The lab is looking for more full-time technicians to start this summer. These positions are primarily for individuals interested in PhD programs and MD/PhD programs. Candidates should expect to make a 2-year commitment to the lab. Could you provide this information to interested seniors in the Carleton Biology department? I've attached the job description. Please tell applicants not to be discouraged by the large number of applicants already listed on LinkedIn/Indeed etc.; the positions are still very much open, and satisfactory candidates have not been found in the current application pool yet. Any Carleton applicants can feel free to contact me.
